These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and any booking you make with Mandukya (“Mandukya”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a boutique stay at Village Tandi, above Jibhi, Tehsil Banjar, District Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, India. By using the website or making a booking, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our service

Mandukya offers short-term accommodation in two duplex villas, along with meals and related services at the property. Descriptions and photographs on this website are presented in good faith and reflect the property as accurately as possible.

2. Bookings and confirmation

• A booking is confirmed only after we receive the applicable payment and send you a written confirmation by email, WhatsApp or SMS, normally within 24 hours of payment.
• Please make sure the contact details you give us are accurate — the confirmation and all stay-related communication are delivered to them.
• The guest making the booking must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for all guests covered by the booking.

3. Prices and payment

• All prices are quoted and charged in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at the time of booking.
• Online payments are processed by RBI-regulated payment partners (such as PhonePe) on their secure systems. We never receive or store your card, UPI or banking credentials.
• The total payable, including any tax breakdown, is shown to you before you pay. There are no hidden charges.

4. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

5. Check-in, check-out and ID

• Check-in: from 2:00 PM · Check-out: by 12:00 noon.
• Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability — write to us in advance and we will do our best.
• As required by law, every adult guest must present a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in (Aadhaar, passport, driving licence or voter ID). Foreign nationals must present a passport and valid visa.

6. Guest responsibilities

• Please treat the villas, furnishings and the hillside with care. Damage beyond normal wear may be charged at reasonable replacement or repair cost.
• Smoking is not permitted inside the villas. Designated outdoor areas are available.
• Bonfires, barbecues and similar activities are offered only in designated areas, arranged with our team, and subject to weather and local fire-safety conditions.
• Quiet hours and respect for the village and our neighbours are part of staying here — Tandi is a living village, not a resort campus.
• Any activity that is unlawful, unsafe, or causes serious nuisance may result in the stay being ended without refund.

7. Food and experiences

Meals are prepared by our in-house kitchen. Please tell us about allergies or dietary requirements in advance and we will accommodate them wherever reasonably possible. Treks, drives and other experiences around the valley are undertaken at your own discretion and risk; where third parties (taxis, guides) are involved, they are independent providers.

8. Our liability

We run Mandukya with care, and our liability in connection with any booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

9. Weather, roads and force majeure

Mandukya sits on a Himalayan hillside. Weather, landslides, road closures, power interruptions or other events beyond our reasonable control may affect access or services. If such an event prevents your stay, we will offer to reschedule your booking or refund it as set out in the Cancellation & Refund Policy. We are not responsible for travel costs incurred in reaching or leaving the property.

10. Bookings made through other platforms

If you book through a third-party platform (such as Airbnb), that platform’s terms, payment processing and cancellation rules apply to your booking instead of Sections 2–4 above.

11. Website content

The text, photographs and design of this website belong to Mandukya and may not be reproduced for commercial use without our written permission.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking applies to that booking.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Kullu, Himachal Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
